Our Ph.D. student, Michael Arias, presented the work “A Framework for Recommending Resource Allocation based on Process Mining” by Michael Arias, Eric Rojas, Jorge Munoz-Gama, and Marcos Sepúlveda at the International Workshop on Decision Mining & Modeling for Business Processes (DeMiMoP 2015), organized in conjunction with the International Conference on Business Process Management (BPM 2015).

This article proposes a multi-criteria mechanism based on historical and contextual information to automatically recommend a ranking of the most suitable resources to execute a a process  (or sub-process).

Our Ph.D. student Michael Arias presented his research at the Doctoral Consortium of the International Conference on Business Process Management (BPM 2015) in Innsbruck, Austria.

The consortium, sponsored by IBM,  provided the opportunity for students to meet and interact with experienced researchers in the area of BPM,  and to receive valuable feedback and guidance on students’ research methods and plans. Additionally, Michael Arias  present his work as a poster in the main conference.
